Remembering 2009

I thought it would be fun to post one last post for the year 2009! A lot has happened over this year, we made a big move to Washington, started a new job, in a new area, new ward, and well new everything. For the most part it has been a good year! We love it here in Vancouver! We have already made some many wonderful memories and have had great experiences. The last month has probably been the most challenging for the Hardy family but we look forward to the new year and a new start at so many things. Stuart will be starting a new job in about a week, and even though it has come as a surprise to us, we look forward to the new journey that the Lord has in store for our family. This is a good thing! Bring on 2010!

Christmas 2009

The girls and I headed to Hermiston with Derek and Stephanie on Wednesday.

Thursday, Christmas Eve we all went to Alvin and the Chipmunks. It was a

cute movie! That night Stuart arrived and we had Selah's family over for pizza.

(Selah is Ben's friend) Caleb, RaeLynn, and Ainzlee opened their one present,

which is always pajamas! We had a great Christmas! Tons of relaxing, eating

a lot and we also had the missionaries over for dinner. We got to talk

to Elder Ben! It was great, he is doing so good! The rest of the weekend

was just laid back. The girls had a wonderful time at Pop and Grammy's!

And then there was no..........

PACI!!!! Yeah I am so excited to say that Ainzlee has been paci free

for over a week now!! I am so overjoyed! She was very attatched to the

silly thing. When she wanted it she would make this sound, it sounded

like she was hyperventilating. It was really weird. The car has been

the hardest thing because she has nothing to do, but it is getting

better. Every now and again she looks in the kitchen drawer but when

she can't find it she just goes about her merry way!

I can't believe she is going to be 2 the beginning of January!

Mr. & Mrs. Claus and the North Pole

The girls and I stopped by the North Pole to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus!

It was so much fun! They got to sit on his lap and get their picture taken!

They got christmas ornaments, a christmas tattoo, wrote letters

to Santa and then had milk and cookies by the fire.

RaeLynn kept saying, " We are at the North Pole Ainzlee!"

Thornton's Tree Farm

Over the weekend, we took the girls to Thornton's Tree Farm, and

found the perfect tree. My family came for the weekend and they

found their perfect tree too. It was such a blast. Caleb and the girls loved

feeding the animals! And of course the hayride was FUN!

Later that day we went to the Festival of Nativities that was hosted by our

Stake. There were about 350 nativities on display from all around the

world. We also watched members preform a live nativity. RaeLynn

loved the kids room where she could dress up as Mary and play in

the stable. She played Mary all weekend, with her Baby Jesus!

(no pics, forgot the camera) After we were done at the nativities we

took my DAD to Dairy Queen to get some ice cream for his

50th BIRTHDAY!

It was a GREAT weekend!

Christmas Blocks

I just love this time of the year! I do have to admit I was kinda bummed

to take down my fall decorations, but once I got my Christmas

boxes out I was super excited. I made the noel blocks using the other side

of my fall blocks! I had so much fun with it! I just love the green and red!

I also made some Christmas Countdown blocks! I did about 12 sets

for friends and family! What a great Christmas gift! My wonderful

grandpa cut the wood for me. I think I am going to need him to cut

some more. The girls have really had a lot of fun changing the

numbers each day!!
