What has Arlee been up to lately?

Here are my SNOW blocks!!

I had a piece of wood just laying around the house so this is what I

came up with! I love it and think it looks so good on the

bookcase! (you know I am just saying that because I made it!)

I am going to add some buttons and ribbons.

That will finish it off!!

And then of course I had to do Valentine blocks!

(I will let you in on a little secret, I have used the same blocks for

all my sayings. I have used 5 sides!)

I saw these on U Create a couple of weeks ago! Aren't they

too cute!! Super fun, cheap and easy

This is on my front door! I bought the hearts last year after Valentine's

day for 75% off and the letters were on sale too!

I didn't like the color of the hearts so I painted them brown

and each letter a different color!

And here is my last project. When RaeLynn was born my aunt

made me a fleece blanket that went in your car-seat and I loved it. It

was so nice to put Rae in the car-seat and just wrap the blanket around her!

I didn't really like the way the fleece washed, so I have improved the

car-seat blanket! I made this carseat blanket a couple of weeks

ago for a friend's sister! Ainzlee put her baby Jaden in the car-seat

and wrapped her up!! So precious!

The inside of the blanket is minky and the outside farbic

is flannel!! So nice and cozy! I will be selling them in my etsy

shop soon, along with some cozy chairs!! So keep checking back!

Not so Little anymore!

Since Ainzlee turned 2 at the beginning of the month, I have noticed

she isn't my little girl anymore! She loves wearing underwear! Ainzlee

goes through about 4 or 5 different outfits a day. Loves to wear shoes!

And she does it all by herself, she doesn't want any help at all!!

If we try to help her she will throw herself on the floor!

Ainzlee is very independent, which is the total opposite of her

sister. Man I love this girl!

~Sleepy Ainz~

Sundays are always hard for Ainzlee because church is right during her nap,

so of course she doesn't get a nap. A lot of the time she will fall asleep

on the way home, but we always wake her up as soon as we are home.

Last Sunday Ainzlee didn't fall asleep on the way home, which was great!

Well so we thought! During dinner Ainzlee couldn't even keep her eyes

open long enough to eat, so we did whatever we could possible

to keep her awake long enough to eat something. But it was only

5:30 and there is no way I wanted her asleep yet, that is just way

TOO early! So we got her a popsicle, and at first that was working.

But then she wanted to sit on my lap, and she started to get all

snuggly with me! It was pretty funny! We did get her to stay awake

till 7 and then she was out for the night!!

If you look hard you can see her eyes are cloesed!

One of those moments.... that just melts your heart!!

Last Monday for Family Home Evening, Stuart was teaching the lesson on

the plan of salvation. It's one of those things that you never really know

if anyone is getting anything from the lesson. RaeLynn and Ainzlee

are all over the place. Finally Stuart is getting to the end, and RaeLynn

sits down by me on the couch ready to listen. FINALLY, right!! haha lol

Then this is how the conversation goes:

Papa talking directly to Rae "Jesus died for us so that we can live with him again."

RaeLynn gets really sad, and the tears start to run down her face,

and she says, "But I didn't want him too."

Papa crying now along with mama, says to Rae, " I know, I didn't

want him to either, but he loves us so much that he died for us so

we can live with him again and be an eternal family."

This sweet little act has changed my life over the past week. I look

at her a little differently. She knows more than we think and is listening

ALL the time. Rae brings such a sweet spirit into our home and I am very

grateful for her honesty. I just want her to know that her papa and mama

love her so much and look forward to watching her continue to draw closer

to her Savior Jesus Christ.

He lives and He loves each one of us!

Fun Birthday Weekend!

My family came for the weekend to celebrate Ainzlee's Birthday!

We thought it would be fun to take Ainzlee, RaeLynn, and Caleb

to Build A Bear Workshop and let them build a bear! They

had a blast picking their animal and an outfit! I didn't

get a picture of Ainzlee because she didn't like the

machine that stuffed the bear! haha! Sorry birthday girl!

Since Stuart is in-between jobs right now he has been home A LOT!

And we have LOVED having him at home with us, especially the girls!

On Monday when he starts his new job, I know the girls are going

to have a hard time with it! But it is for the best! It will be nice

to get back into a groove again! I will miss him too! But I am very

grateful for him and what a wonderful husband/father he is!

He has so much LOVE for our daughters and he shows it all

the time. Good luck with the new job Stuart, we LOVE YOU!

First Snowfall of the Season!!

Last week we had our first snow! It was so much fun! RaeLynn

kept saying, "It's Christmas tomorrow!" She wasn't very happy

Christmas morning when she woke up and there wasn't any

snow. She was very confused. But now that we have snow,

of course it is Christmas! haha! She makes me laugh! The girls

loved the big flakes! The snow only stayed about a day, which

is my kind of snow!
