4th of July 2009

We had planned on going to Utah for my Grandpa's 80th birthday, but we found out on Wednesday that things had changed and we wouldn't be going. Which was fine with me because I really didn't want to drive all that way in such a short amount of time!! But since we already told RaeLynn we were going to see Pop and Grammy we went to Hermiston for the weekend! We didn't tell my dad that we were planning on coming, so he was really surprised when we showed up Thursday night. Friday I got my hair cut by the greatest stylist ever my good friend Lilly and then we went to lunch. It was so much fun just the 2 of us!! Thanks Lilly!! We all went swimming at a good friends pool!! The kids loved it! Friday night Stuart, Pop, Uncle Caleb and I went to Transformers 2!! It was pretty good! Saturday we got up and headed to Boardman for the parade, the girls got a ton of candy!! We stayed in Boardman at the Marina all day! We had a picnic, swam and watch the fireworks!! The girls had a blast with everyone, especially Uncle Caleb, Uncle Ben, and Selah!! (By the way Ben's mission papers are all in, so we are awaiting his call!!) Sunday we went to church and had a BBQ!! It was a nice, fun and relaxing weekend! Thanks to all those that are serving our country in order for us to have all the freedoms that we enjoy daily!
